Trunk or treat

One of my favorite nights of the year was tonight....trunk or treat! Chasie was Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom. Jake was superman again, I was a scarecrow and Derek was crazy Dave from plants vs zombies.

Michigan, camping, fall, its delightful

Another beautiful trip home. Fall was in the air. The leaves had just started turning colors, the air was crisp, it was devine. We went camping our first weekend there. The kids got to go trick or treating around the camp ground, there were lots of cool decorations and a super spooky haunted house that scared me, not the kids. It rained the day we went home, it was perfect.
We spent the rest of the trip at granny and puppas house, visiting with Ryan and Emily. Uncle Doug came to visit one day, and the next day Aunt Rhonda came by. Me, Mom and Emily made grape and raspberry jam one day....all day. It was a lot of work but still fun. We had a great relaxing trip.....can't wait till the next one.
