I went in to have my ultrasound today, FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! So, they said that I am a week farther along than I originally thought, so I am due Jan 8th. They said I could end up having a December baby though. That would be crazy....way too close to Christmas!!!! But then both of my kiddos would have December b-days. Anyway - it was really hard to see weather it was a boy or a girl........because he was holding his little thingy with his hand the entire time!!! hahahahaha! It was funny! But I LOVED having the ultrasound, getting to see my baby for the first time was amazing!!! I sort of thought that I might have been carrying twins because the baby is CONSTANTLY moving, and everyone keeps telling me that Im really big. But the Doctor assured me that in fact, Im NOT that big, my weight gain, and baby size are perfect and that I have nothing to worry about!!! So Im feeling a lot better about being "huge". I guess I shouldnt compare this pregnancy to my first one, since I was super underweight throughout the whole thing because I was throwing up constantly, and Chasie was just an itty-bitty little thingy when she was born (6 lb 4 oz). The doc also told me that it is totally fine to sleep on my stomach or back..which I've been told before that is a no-no, which is GREAT for me, because side sleeping is really painful due to my shoulder impingement syndrome, and my hip pain. He also told me that I dont have to suffer through these terrible headaches, and that Tylenol and caffiene are perfectly safe!!!!!!! ya-hoo!!!!!!! So Im a happy camper today. I am having a healthy baby boy, and I don't have to endure those dreaded headaches anymore without any source of relief!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are the ultrasound pics. They are poor quality because I had to just take pictures of the pictures in order to get them onto my computer. But enjoy!!!!!
