NEMO!!!!!!!!!!!!NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to start out, I'll tell a little story about our little pet Beta fish, Nemo (or Memo, whichever you prefer). I noticed today that his tank was super clowdy and I felt bad because I never clean it out, because its discusting. So anyway, I figured that I'd clean it out today. So, Chasie got up on her stool next to me to watch. I have this little net that I usually dump him into..so I started dumping the water out of the tank into the kitchen sink, and I was holding the net out so that when Memo fell out he'd fall right into the net, and I'd just plop him into a bowl of water. Well...lets just say, he missed the net, and went straight into the garbage disposal!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chasie was like...."Memo?????? Mommy!!!! Where did he go?!?!??!?!" I literally just stood there for like 10 long, very long seconds debating on what I should do. My initial thought was "Heck No! I'm not reaching my hand into the garbage disposal (its like seriously one of my BIGGEST fears!) to grab a nasty slimey fish, that is supposedly a really violent species! Then, I was like, well, I can't just leave him in there because I don't want my house to smell like rotten fish! Then I thought I could just turn on the garbage disposal and get it over with.....and never have to clean that nasty tank again!!! Then I heard poor little Chasie wisper..."Bye Memo." So I snapped out of my evil scheming, and turned on the water so at least he wouldnt suffocate (or whatever it is that fish do when they are out of water for too long) The whole time the water was running I was worried that I would drown him (my mom told me that there is too much air in the faucet water and that she "accidentally" drown a fish a long time ago that way.) So, I ran into the laundry room, got a rubber glove...shoved my hand into the garbage disposal (screaming the entire time) grabbed the dang fish, and returned him safely to his bowl of water. Now hes ticked, and is just laying on the bottom of the bowl. So if by chance he does die, I can honestly say that I did everything I could to save his precious little life.
On a lighter note - Im totally stoked to be having a little boy now!! It took me a few days to get use to the idea of having a boy..But now I think it will be great and I cant wait for the little guy to finally be here!!! Only 3 months to go!!! That will go by fast, hopefully!!! My belly is super huge, I will have Derek take a pic tonight.
Alrighty, I am suppose to be studying for my BIO midterm which is next week....so I should STOP the blabbering and get to work!

Oh Mia! I'll admit I am still laughing as I picture you standing there in shock and Chasie wondering where Memo went. But I got chills and pains in my stomach just thinking about reaching a hand into the garbage disposal for a fish! You are a brave woman. And a great mom.

And only 3 more months!! Yea! I love my boys. It's nice to have a taste of each. Boys and girls are soooo different.
