We're smarter than a 3 year old!!!! Wo-hoo!!!

Hehehehee - last night was Christmas Eve. Chasie was super excited that Santa was coming over. We baked him some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and put them next to the tree with a glass of milk. Then I told Chasie that Santa wasn't coming over unless she was sleeping, so she climbed in bed and immediately shut her eyes as tight as she could. Wow - that was the EASIEST time I have EVER had trying to get her to go to sleep!!!!!! She didn't make a sound, and she usually lays in bed and talks and sings to herself for an hour or so before she actually falls asleep. Anyway - about 20 minutes later, Derek went outside her bedroom window with some reindeer bells and jingled them and said "Ho-ho-ho"..........She immediately started screaming and laughing and I heard her say, in the most enthusiastic voice imaginable...."ooooooohhhhhhhh, Santa just brought me a barbie scooter! hehehehehehe!" I was standing outside her bedroom door and had to run away so she couldn't hear me cracking up! It was so funny! Then she layed in bed and giggled and talked about Santa coming over for like the next hour. I love that she is so easy to trick and that Christmas is so magical for her!!!!
