Weighing in at a whopping 9 pounds even, measuring 21.7 inches tall! This boy is a monster!
I was induced on January 13th. I went to the hospital at 3 pm, and got hooked up to some antibiotics (I was group B strep positive). So, after about 2 hours on the antibiotic drip they hooked me up to pitocin. I was having pretty regular contractions...about 2 minutes apart, but they didn't hurt.....at all, it was really weird. So, they decided that they were going to break my water. I got my epidural first (since contractions come REALLY strong after your water breaks, I didnt want to feel ANY of it!) hehehehehe - Anyway, I got my epidural, and as the doctor was on his way to break my water, it broke on its own.....then things got interesting. I'll save all the details for another day, but lets just say that I am super blessed to have my healthy baby boy Jacob. He's adorable. He loves to sleep and eat. I feel so lucky that he is a really good nurser already (Chasie never quite got the hang of it). Oh, and about the picture...he usually doesnt keep the eye closed but as he was doing this I thought it was halarious because when Chasie was born she thought she only had one eye for like a month and kept one closed...it was so cute.
My camera isnt working properly at the moment so I only have pictures from my phone. As soon as Derek fixes the camera I will post a plethora of pics for everyone.

I love him sooooo much. He is just the cutest little big thing ever! makes me want to have another one right now. But we all know thats not going to happen any time soon.
