They're growing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chasie has a little bit of a bladder infection, so is on antibiotics. The very first time she had to take it.........well, lets just say she was less than cooperative. Derek had to pin her down and pry her mouth open while I dumped it in. Then, somehow, Derek came up with the brilliant idea of telling her that it is magic medicine and if she takes it she will grow princess wings. It was really cute at first, because she was soooo excited to grow wings. We all know that she is a REALLY animated little girl. So her eyes get really wide, and she gets this HUGE smile on her face and tells us that her wings are growing. Like I said, it was really cute at first...now...three days later, nothing has come out of her mouth except "They're growing!!!!!!!!! Momma!!!!!!!!!! My wings are growing!!!!! I feel 'em!!!!!!! I need more medicine!!!!"
Now she just jumped and is disappointed that she didn't take off in flight. Her wings aren't quite big enough yet......So now we are using this to our advantage and telling her that when she eats candy her wings will shrink, and when she eats healthy food they will grow faster.
Gee, this sounds a little familiar...mom. I seem to remember something along the lines that "raisins are candy, and crackers are cookies".....I guess some lies are OK to tell to your kids.
