My day

Alright, lets see if I can get a few words in before the baby starts screaming, or Chasie starts demanding something from me. So, my days consist of waking up around 8:30 after a mostly sleepless night. Then I make breakfast for Chasie and sit on the couch and watch Noggin for 3 hours while I feed, change and rock the baby. Then I finally get stir crazy and attempt to clean the house while Chasie goes right behind me, destroying everything in her path. Then I get on the treadmill for 45 minutes and speed walk in a desperate attempt to regain my pre-baby body (which I am FAR from right now, its really depressing). Everyone warns about the 'baby blues'...which I have a hard time understanding. I am happier than I have ever been. I felt this way after I had Chasie too. I am so lucky to have 2 beauitful, healthy kids, who could want more?!?! However, I seem to be suffering from the 'body blues'. Im super depressed that the weight didnt fall right off like it did when I had chasie. I still cant fit into any of my old clothes, so I have to wear my maternity clothes - and I had the kid 5 weeks ago. I've been to the store and tried on some new clothes but I just cant justify spending money on clothes that wont fit for more than a few weeks (hopefully).
Anyway - Jacob is doing really great. He's gaining a ton of weight ( at his one month appointment he weighed 11 lbs 4 oz) Now hes crying, hang on......
(14 minutes later)
He likes it when I tell him how big and strong he is....he usually gives me a huge smile, which totally melts my heart....see for yourself....

Jenny took some really cute newborn photos a few weeks ago ( think he was 2 weeks old) She always does such a great job, Im so lucky that she does these for me!!! Here are a few...

And of course we couldn't forget Princess Chasie...

Oh, and here's a belly shot that I took myself. I was standing in front of the mirror in my bathroom and I took it with my camera phone. Then photoshopped it to look oh-so-sweet! That's a Big-O belly. I think this was the day before he was born.

I thought it was cool anyway.
That's about all there is to my days anymore, just trying to survive from one to the next. lol. I am in desperate need of a bouncy chair that can bounce itself! I have to sit there for hours a day just bouncing the baby with my foot. And it is the most annoying thing EVER to have to do it at night when Im cold and tired!
Hasta Luego
Dang it, I forgot to take out the trash again and the garbage man is passing my house. We are in for a long stinky week...........again. blah
Ok, I just wanted to share that Chasie is sitting on the couch next to me with her feet behind her head. Try to compose a mental pic of THAT!!! ha!

LOVE the belly shot photoshopped! Way to go, sister! :)

Also, the baby pics are great! I totally dig the first one with you and Jacob. She did a fab job!

Don't get down about the weight. You're a very motivated gal, just keep you're noggin on the goal and I'm sure you'll make it!

I love All the pics, Especially your photo-shopped belly pic. Jacob looks so sweet. Keep your chin up! He is only 5 weeks, I didn't loose my baby weight from having Liza till after I had Turner. Now that is sad! You will look great in no time I just know it!!!
