Spin class crazies

Have you ever been hit behind the knee with an incredibly large leather purse? I have. Do you know what happens when you are hit behind the knee with an incredibly large leather purse? You fall. At least I did. A slow motion fall. It happened whilst stampeding into studio 2 at Lifetime Fitness. This is where about 120 people push, shove, and apparently trample over others in a desperate attempt to get one of the 50 bikes in class. I knew this old lady was cut throat from the get go. I arrived about 20 minutes early to get in line. She arrived shortly after me and stepped in line...directly in front of me. I was irritated, and told her that I had been waiting in line. I left it at that. A few minutes later she left...Don't know where she went, don't care. But when it came time to herd ourselves through the door she somehow ended up behind me, and I know it was HER bag that whacked me behind the knee, causing me to fall Nancy Kerrigan style. The worst part was that everyone pretended like they didn't see me. Of course I didn't make a scene out of it, and most likely everyone didn't see it cuz I jumped right up like a spring chicken, but I am a firm believer in karma, so Im not even mad about it.
