Possibly sugar high

Well I'm feeling invigorated after my breakfast of champions (cake batter cookies, a hand full of jellybeans and 2 Diet Code Red Mountain Dews). Ok, maybe not invigorated.....possibly sugar high. But I have good reason for it! I didn't sleep last night. And I'm pretty sure no one in my house did, thanks to me. I nudged Derek about 45 times last night hoping he would stop snoring. Key word "hoping". When 5 am rolled around and I still lay awake listening to the rhythmic gurgles coming out of my husband I decided I had better try to find sleep elsewhere. So I tiptoed downstairs and into Jacobs room, cuz he has an extra bed in there. I quietly opened his door, then smashed my foot into a tricycle, said a profane word that started with an SH as I tripped over a blanket or something, and crash landed right on top of the mattress on the floor. Ahhhhhhhhh, quiet slumber. NOT. Jacob was awakened by my not so graceful entrance, and thought he was being cute by repeatedly shrieking at extremely high octaves then saying "owie" in a robot voice.
I laid there listening to his nonsense for what seemed like an hour, but turned out to be 15 minutes.
Then I tried my luck on the couch....Alright, has the fridge always made that clunking noise? No? Just tonight right? Cuz I'm freaking tired and the universe was making it utterly impossible to sleep?
Last night sucked.
Mia didn't sleep.
Mia + no sleep = not good.
There's your lesson for the day

I know this feeling all too well. I absolutely cannot sleep when I hear snoring but my husband is a chronic snorer. Most nights I go to bed just praying that I'll fall asleep before he does.

wow- you only nudge him, you're so nice.I straight up PUNCH. However, I'm lucky since he doesn't really snore, more like make popping sounds with his lips or nose whistles.
