So, anyway - I made the mistake of letting Chasie take a Hello Kitty dry erase board and black marker to bed with her for her nap today. About 20 minutes into her nap she started calling for me, so I went up to check on her and found her sitting in bed, with her blanket over her head. When I removed the blanket I saw this...
My precious little angel, covered head to toe with black marker. She then proceeded to lay there and pose for the camera.
Oh, I could tell a billion stories from the past few days that she has done. She is such a funny little character and is constantly cracking me up!!!
Ok, one more thing that you probably won't find even the least bit entertaining, but it happened 2 days ago and I still sporadically bust out laughing!!!
So, she is in a big girl bed now, and was having trouble with it for a few nights (she kept falling out in her sleep!) So, Cheryl gave us a guard rail to put on the bed. It works great, but Chasie cant seem to climb over it to get in and out of bed. (when she tries, it pretty much makes the matress fall off the bed)
I went in to wake her up from a 3 hour nap the other day, and instantly noticed that she wasn't in bed, and that the matress was halfway on the floor, and the guard rail was just kinda hanging there. I was like "where the heck is she?" So, I scanned the room, and saw this little pink coccoon in the corner of the room. She had fallen asleep on the floor, was laying there, stick straight, perfectly still, coocooned in her blanket. She seriously looked like a mummy the way she was laying on the floor with her arms folded over her chest. I don't know why but I have been getting the biggest kick out of that for so long now!!!!
She is just so random, and in her own little world!!!!!!! I love it.
Ok.....enough about Chasie.
We found 3..........yes 3 scorpions in the house last night!!!! All of them upstairs where we sleep!!!!!! I noticed one while I was in the bathroom, and had nothing to kill it with, so I sprayed it with lysol for about 5 minutes (making a nice littel germ free puddle on the floor). Well, Lysol aparantly doesn't harm scorpions because I came charging at me, stinging the floor multiple times, and its arms going crazy trying to pinch me!!!!! So, I freaked out because like, what the heck would happen if a pregnant girl gets stung by a scorpion?? I didnt want to find out. I started running from the stupid thing, then realized that I had to kill it or it would hide, then come looking for me later - so I pinned it under the lysol bottle and went and got Derek. He's the man and came upstairs with the scorpion killer. Sprayed the stupid thing and I watched it sizzle. Then he sprayed the rest of the house and found a few more!!!!!! I want to move. Im not willing to live in a house that is infested with scorpions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its just not worth it!! Out of all the 7 years I have lived in Arizona, I had never seen a scorpion until I moved into this house. Im really bummed and freaking out.
So....off the subject...I have started my math class and am completly bummed with myself that I totally cant divide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I blame the Waterford Michigan school district for that!!! I had the WORST 5th grade teacher who I specifically remember telling me that she wouldnt help me with division!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhh its so frusturating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! k bye

Oh no, I don't know what's worse, the scorpions or the math! EEK! Well, get a good bug guy and hang in there with the math. If you are emotionally connect to everything in life that will be hard but just keep reminding yourself you gotta do it and it will be over soon. Okay, I am selfishly giving myself advice in the form of a comment on your blog. hehe.
anywho - good luck all around! WE LOVE CHASIE STORIES.
I mean I post stories about my DOGS for heavens sake- who wants to hear about the crazy dog lady??
You are hilarious, Chasie is so cute. I'm loving the cocoon story. I saw a scorpion in my house a year ago and it freaked me out. I'm sure Derek got them all. I sprayed mine with Raid. Then I stomped on it like 27 times. That worked! Good luck with division!
Yeah, I can vouch for you on the topic of Waterford Schools!! :p
You're stories about Chasie crack me up! They make me anxious to have one of my own! Lol...
