Doctor.......

Chasie had her 3 year check up yesterday. I felt awful all day knowing that when she went in, they were going to give her vaccinations. I kept telling her that we were going to the doctor.....it was going to be soooo much fun....and they were going to poke her arm.....So she was super excited all day. We got to the doctors office, and she proceeded to take a nap on the paper covered table in the room. It was halarious! Then, ran around like a "purple pony" up and down the hall. Pretty embarassing that I cant control my child, but super cute at the same time. (Imagine her walking on all fours..with legs straight..its halarious!) So, the doctor gave her the full examination...said she is in perfect health...shocked at how much she talks (seriously, who wouldnt be? The child NEVER stops talking!! To make it better, she has the cutest little munchkin voice! Just like a munchkin from The Wizard of Oz). So, Chasie was telling the doctor that her belly hurts. Which she has been saying for a LONG time now, so the doc checked it out and said that she is fine (I thought it was a herinated belly button, because it sticks out). So, that is a relief. Then the nurse came in to give her the vaccinations. She stuck Chasie in the arm and here's Chasies reaction..."*gasp*....Oh, Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (Imagine that in the most exagerated voice possible!! hehehehehe....the nurse and I couldnt help but to laugh. Here I was, expecting the worst...holding on to my baby girl for dear life on my lap, expecting her to struggle, kick, scream....the works....(Last time she got her shots it was pretty much a war zone in there!) So you can imagine my relief when Chasie actually appreciated the shot. She went around all day talking about how they poked her at the doctors, and still wont take her bandaids off. Well...at least she can appreciate good health. Now she has her first dentist appointment tomorrow - lets hope that goes as well as the doctor. I can only imagine what is going to happen. Every night is a struggle around here just trying to brush her teeth. It is seriously the hardest part of my day. As long as she doesnt bite the dentist I think everything will be fine. Wish us luck!!!!!!!
