In case you re wondering, it is NOT OK to use cream cheese as a substitute for heavy whipping cream whilst baking. For the love of all that is good, it is NOT OK!!
Chasie and I discovered that today. She actually realized it before I even put the first dollop of cheesy goodness in the batter. She's all "Mommy? You're putting cream cheese in the cookies?" My response was "Well...it says "cream" right?" Oh how wrong.
Wanna know what sucked? Ahh never mind, it would take too long to say. But it involved a chicken, broken glass, and a lotta really REALLY bad smelling slime all over my walls.
