Have you been following the news? In case you haven't, I will fill you in.
A 9 point something Earthquake hit Japan last week, followed by a very large tsunami, which caused massive destruction, and killed thousands. If that wasn't bad enough, the nuclear power plant is melthing down (since the cooling system was damaged during the massive earthquake) and people are being effected by radiation. There has been talk that the wind could possibly carry some of the radiation over to the west coast of the U.S. This disaster is being compared to Chernobyl, 3 Mile Island, Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
I don't know about you, but Im about to crap my pants.
My heart aches for those poor people.
Nobody deserves this. I had to turn the news off yesterday when they were interviewing a Japaneese woman who was caught in the raging waters of the Tsunami. She was clinging to her daughter, trying to hold on to her but the water was too strong and ripped her daughter from her arms and she was carried away. I can't imagine a worse scenario. I couldn't help but cry for her, and for all of the thousands who have gone through the same struggle.
If this isn't a sign of the times, I don't know what is. How much wose can the world get?
I'm freaked out.
